About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2028
As a Senior Impact Assessor, you'll lead statutory environmental impact assessments for projects across Victoria and coordinate interfaces with approval processes under Victorian and Commonwealth legislation. This is a challenging and rewarding role where you'll manage complex project assessments, provide expert environmental advice, and work closely with government agencies, project proponents and other stakeholders. Integral to the role is strong project management and delivery, stakeholder engagement and collaboration across teams.
You'll prepare high-quality advice for senior leaders and decision-makers, guide and support team members, and contribute to improving the way environmental assessments are delivered. The role offers a unique opportunity to influence project outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and help ensure environmental, social and economic considerations are effectively considered in decision-making.
You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values knowledge-sharing, diverse perspectives and mutual support. We work together to solve complex challenges, learn from one another and deliver high-quality outcomes that make a difference for Victoria.
