About the role:
The Senior Immunisation Advisor is part of the Policy and Programs team in the Immunisation Unit. In this role you will be responsible for managing immunisation queries, including the provision of clinical advice associated with the National Immunisation Program, cold chain management, vaccine errors and Victorian immunisation initiatives. Your immunisation expertise will also contribute to public health responses where immunisation is involved, such as Japanese encephalitis and monkeypox.
You will contribute to the development of resources to support Victorian immunisation services and lead and contribute to actions and/or initiatives that meet or respond to issues or needs of key stakeholders as well as government, department, and unit priorities in relation to immunisation.
