The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Grants Delivery Officerto provide a critical role within Emergency Management Victoria.
About the Business Unit
Emergency Management Victoria (EMV), within the Department of Justice and Community Safety, is responsible for the overall coordination of the emergency management system in Victoria. EMV drives the integration of policy, strategy, operational coordination, sector specific technology, and planning across Victoria's emergency management sector, contributing to safer, more resilient communities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Grants the Senior Grants Delivery Officer is a key operational and community facing role, working in a dynamic environment. The role will lead the successful delivery of the Community Recovery Officer and Community Recovery Hubs (CRO and Hub) and Community Recovery (CR) grant programs in response to the complexity of community recovery needs following the bushfires commencing 7 January 2026.
The role requires a capacity to exercise sound advice, effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders and support a team to deliver the two program objectives and outcomes through to 30 June 2028.
