Senior Finance Analyst
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst with strong skills in financial, budget and forecasting analysis combined with a demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships and support change management to improve outcomes.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing strategic analysis and advice on TAFE finances at both a sector and institute level to support sustainable financial management and broader TAFE Network goals.
The role requires advanced analytical ability, financial and commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly within government or complex organisations. The position supports innovation and change management to improve the financial sustainability of the Victorian TAFE Network.

The position of Senior Finance Analyst forms part of TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure Branch, which sits within the Skills and TAFE Group.
Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
Working in close partnership with the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA), S&T provides leadership and stewardship of a responsive, high-quality vocational education and training (VET) system. This includes oversight of the Victorian TAFE Network, led by the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD), and the apprenticeships system, with a strong focus on aligning training with industry needs and strengthening pathways into the workforce.
The Office of TAFE Coordination and Del ivery (OTCD) incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure branch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
The OTCD is primarily responsible for driving change in the way the VTN responds to government priorities and provides training as a coordinated network, better serving Victorian students, employers and communities.
