About the Role
Reporting to the Manager – Pavement Design, the Senior Engineer - Pavement Design sits within Assets and Engineering division and is responsible for undertaking the procurement, investigation, design and delivery of pavement design projects within the DTPs pipeline of works.
The role’s responsibilities will support the structural design of flexible and rigid pavements, rehabilitation and maintenance treatments, structural overlays using mechanistic procedures, stabilisation treatments, pavement and surfacing conditions, and the selection of surfacing treatments, under limited supervision.
The Senior Engineer – Pavement Design will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery and discuss pavement related queries in a consultative manner.
Additionally, the role will support the capability development of less experienced pavement engineers and contribute to a culture of continual process improvement under the guidance of the Manager – Pavement Design and Specialist Engineer – Pavement Design.
