THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Communication and Engagement, the Senior Engagement and Communications Officer works across the Commission to deliver high-level communications and engagement advice to the Victorian Disability Worker Commissioner (the Commissioner) and the Disability Worker Registration Board of Victoria (Board about the Disability Worker Regulation Scheme (Scheme). This includes development and delivery of communication activities to the disability sector, wider community and key stakeholders.
This role also supports the operation of the Commission and Board, by providing high level strategic advice and compiling reports for the Commission and Board. The role leads the development of communications strategies for major projects and contributes to implementing and evaluating these strategies. The role acts as a communications champion to ensure high standards are applied in all communications across the Commission.
