About the Role
Help Shape the messages that keep Victorian communities safer.
CFA is seeking an experienced Senior Engagement Advisor - Content Development to provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise in the development of community preparedness, fire safety and behaviour change communications content.
In this fixed term role, you will help shape how CFA communicates important fire safety information to communities across Victoria. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of key fire safety messages, ensuring content is evidence-based, community-centred, accessible, consistent and aligned with CFA's strategic priorities. You will provide advice on content strategy, message development and audience-centred communication, working closely with subject matter experts, operations, external agencies and communication specialists.
A key focus of the role will be leading content development projects from concept through to production. This includes developing creative briefs, managing external suppliers and coordinating graphic designers, photographers and videographers to deliver high-quality content across a range of channels and audiences. You will also play an important role in ensuring CFA's fire safety messages remain relevant, effective and responsive to changing community needs, emerging evidence and organisational priorities.
The successful candidate will have access to a CFA pool car for travel and after-hours work.

You are an experienced communications or content professional who combines strategic thinking with strong creative and delivery capability. You understand how to translate complex information into clear, engaging and accessible content that resonates with diverse audiences.
