A fixed term full-time position is available in the Assessment Division of the VCAA. The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian student's birth to 18 years.
About the Division
The Assessment Development Branch leads assessment development including Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Examinations. It leads development and publication of a range of print and electronic materials for VCE, including examinations, assessor reports, and sample examinations, in accordance with VCAA style and branding guidelines and accessibility standards.
Role Purpose
The role provides expert guidance on publication specifications and the end-to-end processes required to progress examination materials from drafting through to electronic publication. It plays a key role in the quality assurance of examination materials, ensuring contributors understand and meet required standards and processes. The role is responsible for editing materials, providing expert feedback to contributors, and leading a high-performing team operating within strict security and confidentiality requirements.
