Senior Policy Officer (Economic Policy)
The Role
A Senior Policy Officer plays a role in developing, implementing, and managing policies which contribute to the department's objectives. They research, analyse, and provide advice on policy matters, often with a focus on strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, and monitor the implementation of policies, evaluate their effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements.

The position of Senior Policy Officer (Economic Policy) forms a part of the Policy & Strategy branch within the Skills and TAFE group.
Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations. Policy and Strategy Branch (PSB) leads the system and strategic policy settings of Victoria's vocational education and training (VET) system so that it delivers high quality outcomes for learners and the Victorian economy.
