About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Part Time position to cover Parental Leave 12 months at 38 hours per fortnight within the Nutrition & Food Services Department, clinically reporting to Neurodevelopment and Disability.
You will be responsible for the provision of specialist high-quality nutritional assessment for youth with clinical obesity and neurodevelopmental disability or medical complexity. Aligning with the model of care, subsequent responsibilities include ongoing nutritional management or facilitating referrals and connections with appropriate local primary care and/or disability services and providers.
In addition to clinical duties, this role includes:
Classification for this position will range from Dietitian Grade 3 Year 1 - Grade 3 year 4 (AK1-AK4) (FTE base salary per annum pro-rata, plus superannuation).

About the Department
The Nutrition and Food Services Department sits within the Allied Health Directorate within the Division of Ambulatory Services in the organisational structure at the Royal Children’s Hospital. The Department of Nutrition and Food Services incorporates the clinical dietetic service, the Main Kitchen and the Central Formula Room. The RCH Complex Clinical Obesity Assessment Service sits within the Department of Neurodevelopment and Disability in the Division of Medicine.
