The Role:
This is a part time 0.4 EFT fixed term role at 30.4 hours per fortnight within the Nutrition and Food Services department. This is a job-share position with working days of Thursday and Friday.
In this role, you will provide specialist, high-quality nutritional care to paediatric patients requiring dietary modification or nutritional support, and their families. The clinical caseload includes gastroenterology, hepatology, and ketogenic diet therapies, as well as other medical specialties as required.
The position also involves providing clinical supervision and mentoring to members of the dietetic team, co-convening external nutrition education courses, and contributing to the teaching and training of students and healthcare professionals.
Participation in the department's weekend roster may also be required.

About Nutrition and Food Services:
The Department of Nutrition and Food Services at The Royal Children's Hospital incorporates the clinical dietetic service, the Main Kitchen that caters for inpatient meals and the Central Formula Room that produces formula, enteral feeds and fortifies expressed breast milk to meet the nutritional needs of patients. The Department is also a registered NDIS provider.
