Part time, 0.5EFT, fixed term from February 2027 - December 2027
The Role:
This is a part time 0.5EFT(alt Wed, Thur, Fri - 38 hours per fortnight) fixed term role within the Nutrition and Food Services Department and the Complex Care Hub. Working as part of a job-share, you will be responsible for the provision of specialist high quality nutritional care to patients with high medical needs in a complex disability space. This role is predominately outpatient based and focuses on enteral feeding and tube weaning and works as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care to some of the Royal Children's Hospital's most complex patients. The role also includes responsibility for a senior portfolio, the provision of clinical supervision and mentoring within the dietetic team, co-ordination and participation in quality activities, and student supervision and teaching. It may also include rotation on the weekend oncall roster.

About Nutrition and Food Services:
The Department of Nutrition and Food Services at The Royal Children's Hospital incorporates the clinical dietetic service, the Main Kitchen that caters for inpatient meals and the Central Formula Room that produces formula, enteral feeds and fortifies expressed breast milk to meet the nutritional needs of patients. The Department is also a registered NDIS provider.
