About the role
Parks Victoria is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (Civil/Structural) with a strong design mindset to provide in‑house engineering expertise across our diverse and highly visible infrastructure portfolio.
Reporting to the Manager - Technical Services, this role is not just asset management or purely regulatory. You will be actively involved in developing, reviewing and modifying designs to ensure they are practical, compliant and sensitive to Parks Victoria's unique landscapes.
A key focus of the role is hands‑on design work, including preparing and reviewing drawings and specifications, and signing off on designs in line with professional registration requirements. Working on public infrastructure within parks and protected areas.
