The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
The Corporate Strategy and Delivery group delivers essential corporate and enabling services and specialist support, allowing the department to operate efficiently and effectively
Data, Performance and Governance is tasked with supporting the Chief Operating Officer in leading the department's agenda in delivery of justice and community safety services in Victoria by providing a strong evidence base for the development of effective policy and organisational management.
Ministerial Services will comprise several business units, including Ministerial Services and Coordination, Policy Reform and Programs and Redress Design. These business units are responsible for providing critical departmental and Ministerial coordination support and delivering essential family violence programs and crime prevention grants.
What you will do
As Senior Departmental Liaison Officer, you will help the Minister's office and department work together. You will manage sensitive information and provide clear, timely and accurate support.

A tertiary qualification is desirable. Relevant experience in a government environment is also desirable.
You should understand public sector work and handle sensitive matters with care. You should communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs.
