About the Business Intelligence Unit
The Data Services team is part of the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) and supports the operational areas of Austin Health with detailed dashboards and analytics. In the medium term, the team is engaged in a large data warehouse project, which involves redesigning and redeveloping reports, validating new data tables, and conducting UAT testing as part of the rebuild process to ensure effective integration and functionality. Long-term goals focus on advancing data capabilities, with a keen interest in moving towards advanced analytics and statistical analysis projects.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer with strong Azure skills to join our team at Austin Health. As we undertake a major rebuild of our data warehouse, in Fabric, we need a skilled individual who can provide leadership in Azure technology processes such as CI/CD pipelines, PySpark and Azure DevOps. As a Senior Data Warehouse Developer, you will support Austin Health’s migration to Fabric and help the manager develop workforce capability across the Data Services team. This position reports to the Manager, Data Services.

You are skilled in understanding and addressing stakeholder needs, translating business requirements into effective data solutions. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail ensure that you consistently deliver high-quality, accurate, and actionable insights. You excel in using Azure data, source control and release tools. You thrive on finding solutions to complex problems.
