The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
An exciting opportunity exists to join the new Strategy and Secondary School Reform Group in a key role supporting the Pathways Insights team in the Senior Secondary Pathways Reform Division.
The Senior Secondary Pathways Reform Division (SSPRD) was established in 2021 to lead a generational reform agenda in response to the 2020 Review into Vocational and Applied Learning Pathways in Senior Secondary Schooling. These reforms collectively support all Victorian secondary students to pursue high-quality and valued vocational pathways aligned to their strengths and interests and to finish schooling with the skills and capabilities they need for success in further education, training, work, and life.
The SSPRD includes 14 high performing and highly interdependent teams within four branches led by an Executive Director.
About the Role
This is a fixed term, full-time role till 01-APR-2027.
In this key role, your core work will involve analysing data to generate actionable insights from a dynamic linked dataset. Collaborating closely with a dedicated project team, your expertise in data analysis will be essential in ensuring our solutions effectively address user needs and are delivered on schedule.
