Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats.
The Cyber Security Analyst position, as a part of the Information and Cyber Security Services team, is accountable for maintaining a strong security posture in today’s threat landscape. Their expertise in threat identification, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance ensures that the Department is protected against cyber threats. Working closely with internal and external technology partners and vendors, the Information and Cyber Security team identifies business needs, provides advice regarding management of information security risks and is responsible for the implementation of the information security improvement activities, ensuring security services and capabilities are in place to support the Department's overall security objectives and obligations under the Privacy and Data Protection Act.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
