About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity:
This position is responsible for cost control, budget allocation, cost forecasting, cash flow reporting, and change management across VHBA’s portfolio of health infrastructure projects. This role supports multidisciplinary project teams by delivering insightful performance reporting to help achieve key project milestones and ensure strong financial outcomes for the organisation!
Contribute to contractor bid reviews and assist in contractor variation and claims evaluations.
Support the development of business cases, this includes project cost estimate and analysis of historic costs for benchmarks.
Work closely with various teams across the authority!
We are looking for:
Extensive experience in Cost Control and understanding Project Management principles within major construction or infrastructure projects.
Understanding of project control processes, including cost forecasting, scheduling, and month-end reporting.
Knowledge of working within multidisciplinary teams, delivering quality work within established timeframes to ensure key project risks are identified.
Tertiary qualification within Accounting (including CPA or CA qualification), Commerce, Business or extensive relevant industry experience.
