About the Role
The Senior Coordinator, Program Delivery provides strategic leadership to support the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Small Schools Program. Working closely with the Manager, Program Delivery, the role plays a pivotal part in shaping the strategic direction of the program through the analysis of operational and performance data, identification of emerging trends and opportunities, and the development of innovative solutions that enhance program outcomes.
The role provides leadership, guidance and operational support to a statewide team of 16 Facilities and OHS Coordinators, promoting consistent service delivery, capability development and best practice across participating small schools throughout rural and regional Victoria. The position is responsible for leading strategic projects, developing governance and operational frameworks, preparing high-quality reports and executive briefings, and translating strategic priorities into practical tools, resources and business improvements that strengthen program delivery.
The Senior Coordinator, Program Delivery is also responsible for providing high-level advice to support evidence-based decision-making, monitoring program performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and fostering strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
This role requires regular travel throughout regional Victoria to support coordinators, engage with schools and stakeholders, and contribute to statewide program initiatives.

This is a regionally-based position. Regular travel to up to the program's schools across the state is an important aspect of this position, providing a direct support to Facilities and OHS Coordinators and schools.
This is a fixed term, full-time role available to 31 December 2027.

You are an excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal, written and stakeholder engagement skills. You build trusted relationships across diverse teams, influence outcomes through collaboration and provide high-quality strategic advice to managers and senior stakeholders. You are equally comfortable working independently or as part of a high-performing team, adapting to changing priorities and balancing strategic thinking with oper ational delivery.
You understand the unique challenges faced by small schools across rural and regional Victoria and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and practical solutions that reduce administrative burden and improve compliance outcomes.
