Lived & Living Experience Workforce is seeking a Senior Consumer Peer Worker to join our Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (IMYOS) as part of the Infant Child Youth Mental Health (ICYMHS) team. This position offers leadership responsibilities alongside direct community impact and is open to both Full-Time and Part-Time applicants.
About the Role
In this position, you will deliver practical, social, and emotional support to young consumers by sharing your own recovery and healing experiences. Your work will focus on role-modelling hope, fostering relationships built on mutual trust, and promoting self-determination and empowerment in every interaction.
As a senior member of the team, you will also provide vital leadership and guidance to peer colleagues. You will act as a trusted point of advice for managing complex consumer needs, applying advanced problem-solving skills and professional judgment within relevant service frameworks.
