About the Role
The Senior Compliance Officer leads the development and implementation of risk-based compliance programs, provides professional independent judgement during compliance activities to identify issues in support of service providers operating under DTP’s Dealer Schemes and Information Protection Agreements (IPAs), and prepares supporting detailed reports.
This important role will need to assess and present advice to Scheme owners, senior leaders, and external industry stakeholders regarding information security, risk and compliance matters and demonstrate awareness of standards, legislation, regulations and other policies or guidelines.

Key Selection Criteria
We’re seeking a strategic thinker with advanced analytical and risk-based problem-solving skills to identify trends, navigate emerging industry issues and recommend effective solutions to complex challenges. You’ll bring strong experience in risk management and compliance, including the design and practical application of frameworks, analytical tools and supporting systems. With a solid understanding of data and information security, governance and regulatory obligations, you’ll confidently interpret legislation and policy requirements. You’ll lead compliance planning, scheduling and resource coordination, delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes. Your ability to conduct deep research, engage with industry and propose meaningful improvements will shape stronger risk mitigation strategies. You’ll also prepare clear, insightful reports using modern reporting tools for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
