About the Division
As a Division of the Academy, the Business Services Division leads the provision of quality Academy corporate support services and functions (including procurement, project management and program governance, human resources and culture architecture, finance, facilities management and, risk, audit and reporting) which enable successful operation of the Academy. In addition, the Business Services Division is responsible for the oversight, delivery and reporting of the compliance obligations required of a statutory authority.
About the Role
The Senior Compliance and Audit Officer is responsible for supporting, managing, monitoring, and reporting on the Academy's audit and compliance functions. Key focus areas include risk management, business continuity, asset management, audit processes, and compliance reporting to ensure adherence to the Standing Directions 2018 under the Financial Management Act 1994 and Victorian Protective Data Security Standards (VPDSS).

Success in this role also depends on your capacity to manage multiple priorities, provide expert advice, and deliver impactful results in a complex environment.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., auditing, risk management, business administration, or a related discipline) is highly desirable. Alternatively, extensive relevant experience in audit, compliance, or a related area demonstrating equivalent expertise will be considered.
