About the Role
The Senior Communications Strategist plays a key role in the development, delivery and evaluation of strategic communications plans and campaigns across Early Childhood Education, priority audiences. As a senior communications strategist you will lead the delivery of best practice and evidence-based communications that concisely communicates the education narrative to our staff and the broader public, with a key focus on priority audiences including culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) Victorians and the early childhood workforce.

The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
