The Senior Communications and Media Adviser delivers high-quality, strategic communications and media support for DEECA’s Agriculture and Forestry portfolio.
Reporting to the Communications and Media Manager, this role provides expert advice and delivers communications for policies, programs, initiatives and ministerial events. You will identify opportunities and risks, tailor messaging for diverse audiences, and manage complex media issues with confidence.
As a senior team member, you will support strategic approaches, build strong relationships across the department and partner agencies, and contribute to best-practice communication outcomes.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 2 years. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (flexibility within Victoria) with hybrid work arrangements available.
