Position overview
The Senior Communications Advisor is responsible for leading the management and execution of communications strategies for projects and campaigns that have internal and external impacts.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, the position will play a lead role during an exciting period of transformation, as the Victorian Building Authority merges with Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria and the Domestic Building Insurance unit of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority to become the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC).
The position will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior leaders, to ensure communications material is clear, accurate, engaging, timely, and aligned to the organisation's strategic plan and ambition.

It also supports industry professionals by providing guidance, education, and resources to uphold safety, durability, and sustainability in building and plumbing work.
