Create Change from the Inside Out
The young people we work with can make remarkable changes in their lives.
Statewide rehabilitation services include innovative, evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions for children and young people to support their rehabilitation and reintegration with caregivers, education and other related support systems in the community.
As a statewide model, rehabilitation services aim to provide continuity of care to young people as they move from community into custody.
The opportunity
In this role, you will lead and advise a dynamic team of clinicians in delivering criminogenic and offence-related interventions to help create best practice outcomes for children and young people in the community and in custody.
You will administer clinical assessments and deliver group and individual interventions to highly complex young people, and you will supervise clinical portfolio development by establishing effective relationships with multiple stakeholders that facilitate delivery of multi-systemic interventions.
As part of our overarching rehabilitation services model, you will also oversee practice improvement and support the clinicians to effect change by providing them with training, development and support on research approaches, implementation science and undertaking knowledge translation activities.
In this role, you will also ensure completion of treatment plans and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders, including collaboration with senior practice advisors, case managers, behaviour support specialists, youth justice workers and our extended community and custodial operations teams.
To be successful in the role, you will have knowledge of key issues impacting youth justice and a minimum of two years' experience working directly with children and young people.
