About the Role
This is a permanent part time position at 0.4FTE, 30.4 hours per fortnight within the Department of Adolescent Medicine Gender Service Program.
You will be responsible for leading the clinical and operational activities of the Royal Children’s Hospital Gender Service (RCH GS) while providing clinical and operational supervision to the other RCHGS psychologists.
This position provides a weekly outpatient clinic, the required working days for this position are on Thursdays and Fridays, any applicants unable to commit to these two days will not be considered.
Classification for this position will range from PM1 – PM5.

About the Department
The Department of Adolescent Medicine provides care and management to adolescents and their families via a range of specialist multidisciplinary services including the Gender Service, Eating Disorders Service, Chronic Illness Peer Support (ChIPS), Young People’s Health Services and inpatient and outpatient medical service.
The RCH Gender Service is a Victorian state-wide service providing multidisciplinary care for trans and gender diverse (TGD) children and adolescents up to 16 years of age. The assessment, treatment and support provided by the Gender Service is consistent with the Australian Standards of Care and Treatment Guidelines for trans and gender diverse children and adolescents (v1.4 2023).
