THE ROLE
We are seeking applications for Senior Child Protection Practitioners to join our Intake Practice team. We have X 2 positions available as follows:
- X 1 ongoing, full time position based in Geelong
- X 1 fixed term, full time position until 15 December 2026 based in Preston.
In this role you will be responsible for supervising team members in daily tasks through a structured and supportive learning program in addition to managing a case load. You will work closely with Team Managers to strengthen case practice and provide effective service delivery to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people.
Essential to your success will be a recognised Social Work or Welfare related qualification/ or equivalent as well as a strong sense of social justice and an understanding that families are complex, with their own unique histories.
