The Senior Capability Officer will support all areas of the Regulatory Capability Unit (RCU) within the Conservation Regulator. This role will support the team in:
• Setting regulatory standards in policy & procedures,
• Developing and reforming technology systems,
• Building regulatory capability and confidence through learning and development programs,
• Developing assurance tools to assess compliance to standards,
• Implementing regulatory improvements based on risk, and
• Collecting, sharing, and integrating lessons learnt from regulatory practice and capability initiatives in the Conservation Regulator.
The key to the success of this role is excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to self-manage and understand and deliver a range of project needs.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 22 October 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
