THE ROLE
The Senior Business Continuity Officer works across the department to plan and deliver key business continuity (BC) functions, including stewardship of the business continuity policy and framework. The role supports the department's BC Network deliver a robust and effective BC management system to build resilience to effectively manage the impact of disruptions to the delivery of the department's critical activities. The role also supports and administers the department's Business Continuity (BC) Management System in partnership with the Department of Health.
As part of the Emergency Management Branch, the Senior Business Continuity Officer provides support and assistance with the department's planning for and operational responses to emergencies.
