About Us:
Redress Design and Delivery (RDD) is responsible for administering two redress schemes that acknowledge past harm, provide a range of support options for individuals who have experienced harm, and operate independently from the organisation responsible for causing the harm. It provides high-quality strategic policy advice, and is responsible for administration and delivery of frontline services.
The RDD business unit administers the schemes via ‘scheme based teams.' Each team consists of a Senior Manager, Team Leader, Principal Consultant, Senior Consultants, Senior Assessors and support staff. The Strategy and Operations team provide policy, compliance, monitoring and business support across all two schemes.
About the Role:
The position is responsible for the assessment of applications, preparing reasons for decisions and ongoing policy development to support the delivery of the schemes.
This position requires dealing with material that can be challenging and distressing. This role will best suit a candidate who is resilient and empathetic.
