About the Role:
This position is a fixed-term, full-time role to cover Long Service Leave from September 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, within the Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Program. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of newborn hearing screening across a regional cluster of Victorian maternity hospitals. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, supervise Area Managers, ensure adherence to national and program standards, and foster a high-performance culture focused on quality improvement and equitable service access.
Classification for this position will be AO71 Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025

About the Department
The Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Program (VIHSP) is dedicated to early detection of hearing loss in newborns across Victoria, ensuring timely intervention and support for affected families. Operating within the Centre for Community Child Health, the program works closely with hospitals and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality hearing screening services, contributing to the overall health and development of infants.
