The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Analyst, Performance Analysis and Reporting to provide a critical role within Governance and Assurance.
About the Business Unit
Corporate Services and Infrastructure (CSI) oversees and leads the key public accountability requirements of the department, including finance, asset management, procurement, risk management, audit, governance, performance reporting, climate change and environmental sustainability and statutory planning and related functions. The group also manages the governance and delivery of major infrastructure projects through the Community Safety Building Authority, and information and communications technology (ICT), including cyber and information security management.
The Performance Analysis and Reporting team co-ordinates a range of performance analysis and corporate reporting activities for DJCS to ensure the department meets its reporting and compliance obligations. The team is responsible for managing high quality reporting to key stakeholders including Ministers, Cabinet, executive management, and other Government agencies on behalf of the department.
About the Role
The Senior Analyst is responsible for co-ordinating a range of reports by collating data from several sources across the department to meet internal and external reporting requirements. This is achieved by building relationships with key stakeholders to collate and present complex information, using a range of analysis and reporting applications. This role will focus on enhancing efficiencies for corporate reporting, performance analysis and process management.
This role requires a high level of conceptual and analytical capability, a responsive and flexible approach to managing deliverables to deadlines, strong capability in engaging stakeholders and advanced written and verbal communication skills.
