About the role:
The Analyst is responsible for supporting the identification and analysis of opportunities to improve the understanding of funding streams and associated billing rules to better enable third party and own source revenue opportunities across the hospital sector. A key part of the role will be to develop strategies and materials to implement improvements in conjunction with health services. This position is part of a specialist unit dedicated to driving financial improvement and capability across Victoria's health services in the third party and own source revenue streams.
We are seeking:
A professional with experience in health service funding models – specifically third party and own source revenue funding streams, service delivery, and improvement, with the ability to analyse findings and contribute to effective strategies and programs. You have a strong understanding of hospital revenue and financial information and can interpret datasets to identify trends and assess effectiveness, supporting informed decision-making.
