About the role:
The Senior Analyst – Data Analysis and Lineage supports the Business Analytics Unit (BAU) to deliver trusted data, reporting and analytical products for Victoria Police. The role engages with stakeholders to translate business needs into data requirements and clear analytical outputs. It also supports project delivery by coordinating tasks, managing priorities and contributing to timely, fit-for-purpose reporting and data solutions. The role documents data assets, definitions and processes; assesses data quality; creates and supports dashboard and reporting products.

The Business Analytics Unit uses a range of reporting, analytical and business intelligence tools to develop data products for Victoria Police.
Experience developing data products with SQL, JavaScript and HTML or similar along with experience in SAS Enterprise Guide, Power BI and Databricks will be highly regarded.
For this position the ideal candidate communicates clearly, builds productive working relationships, manages pressure professionally, shows initiative, adapts to changing priorities and acts as a positive ambassador for Victoria Police.
