The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Analyst, to provide a critical role within Systems Integration Analysis and Outcomes.
About the Business Unit
Corrections Victoria (CV) is part of the Department of Justice and Community Safety and oversees Victoria's adult corrections system, including public and privately operated prisons and a transitional centre. It ensures that people in prison are safely and securely contained within a safe, secure and humane correctional system, and delivers programs and services aimed at addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour to support rehabilitation and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.
CV also oversees community correctional services, with a focus on managing offenders in the community, supporting rehabilitation, and diverting low-risk offenders from custody where appropriate to reduce reoffending and support community safety.
Policy and Strategy (PS) is a division within CV that aims to drive systemic improvements in the corrections system by providing strategic, evidence-based advice. PS works closely with other business units to deliver a modern corrections system for Victorians that is focused on human rights, rehabilitation and community safety.
About the Role
