The Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030 commits to the ambitious target of eliminating death from our roads by 2050, with the first step of halving road deaths by 2030. It also seeks to reduce the incidence of serious injury resulting from road crashes.
Road Safety manages Victoria's road safety camera network and is a representative for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) in Victoria's road safety partnership. Road Safety contributes to this partnership in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of road safety cameras, in ensuring the transparency and integrity of Victoria's road safety enforcement. Road Safety is accountable to the Minister for Police.
About the Role:
The Road Safety Camera Program is seeking to recruit an effective, talented and passionate individual to the position of Senior Analyst in the Governance and Reporting team.
In this role you will support the Manager, Governance and Reporting in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of Victoria's road safety camera program by coordinating the provision of data, including data provided in the Road Safety Camera Program internal and external reporting and ad-hoc requests.
In addition, the Senior Analyst has responsibility for establishing the audit and quality assurance programs and strategies ensuring proper alignment with Justice portfolio requirements and critical linkages with the wider governance framework including submission of observations, critical findings and recommendations for continuing improvement of Road Safety performance.
