Senior Analyst – VPS5 – Fixed term 12 months
What you'll do
As a Senior Analyst you will use employee workplace experience data to generate clear insights that help organisations understand psychosocial risks and strengthen workplace wellbeing.
You will bring together strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration and stakeholder management, good judgement and the ability to translate data into practical advice that supports OHS-related reporting and decision-making across the public sector. We do not expect you to be an expert in OHS.
You will work in the Data Collection team, contributing to improvements in survey design and data quality. You'll collaborates with internal and external experts in psychosocial risk to enhance reporting, and help organisations apply the data effectively in their risk management and wellbeing activities.
You'll also supports a positive team culture by mentoring junior analysts and modelling inclusive and values-based behaviours.

We are looking for someone who can connect survey data and psychological health and safety at work.
You will have strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Python or R, and experience analysing large survey or workforce datasets. You can assess data quality and explain complex results in clear and practical ways.
You are confident working with others and can build strong relationships with partners such as WorkSafe Victoria and OHS specialists. You enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting others and working as part of a collaborative team.
