About the Role
The position will be supporting a high performing team that provides expert advice and oversight of the development and delivery of a range of data collection, validation, analysis, dissemination, and reporting activities relating to kindergarten participation. The position will support work across the Early Learning Funding and Operations Branch to identify and implement strategic opportunities to build on and improve current practices and ensure data is used as effectively as possible to drive positive outcomes for children.

This is a Fixed Term - Full Time position available until December 2026. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

The work location is 200 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
Attributes
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and results-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will demonstrate sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data to inform policy and funding decisions. Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Python, and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.

The Early Learning Operations and Monitoring (ELOM) Division leads core funding, policy, operational and monitoring functions for funded three and four-year-old kindergarten in Victoria.
