This is a Permanent, Part Time position at 0.5 EFT per fortnight within the Allied Health Research Team.
You will be responsible for evaluating research activity within allied health and related research capacity initiatives within a research framework and developing allied health service-wide and discipline specific research strategies aligned with clinical priorities and the RCH vision. You will support individual and team research capacity development and innovation and will undertake research, teaching and training.
Classification for this position will range from Allied Health Professional Grade 4 Year 1-Year 4 VG14-VG17 or equivalent. (FTE base salary $126,079 to $138,928 per annum, plus superannuation and higher qualification allowance).

About the Department
The Allied Health Research Team comprises the Director of Allied Health Research and two Research Development Officers. Allied Health sits in the Division of Ambulatory Services, and supports a broad workforce of over 400 Allied Health Professionals. We are a friendly, progressive and supportive team committed to enhancing research capacity and capability across the RCH Allied Health team.
