About the role
The Senior Advisor, Workforce Planning will lead key initiatives, tools and processes that support delivery of the Department’s workforce strategy and plan. This role helps to ensure the organisation remains future focused and ready to deliver on its priorities. Working across the business, you will implement initiatives, monitor progress against strategic workforce objectives and provide informed advice using internal and external data, insights and trends. Your work will strengthen capability, inform decision-making and help shape a sustainable, high-performing workforce for the future.

What we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate accomplished project delivery skills, translating strategy into well-governed programs with clear success measures, defined roles and effective risk management. You bring applied data literacy, confidently analysing and visualising data to inform evidence-based decisions. With a future focus, you align objectives to broader organisational goals, integrate relevant policies and initiatives and stay informed on emerging best practice. You foster strong collaboration across teams, removing barriers to knowledge sharing, and communicate with clarity, credibility and confidence, including when navigating complex or sensitive matters.
