About the Business Unit:
The Assurance branch within DPG supports delivering the department's overarching governance and assurance framework, translating risk exposure, perform..ance and compliance data into meaningful oversight to support inform..ed decision-making. It brings together evidence and insights across risk, audit, resilience, FOI, secretariat support and broader governance functions to strengthen accountability and drive continuous improvement.
About the Role:
The Senior Advisor, Risk provides leadership in the development and practical application of the department's risk management framework and program. The role delivers high‑quality risk a dvice, leads initiatives to uplift risk capability, and supports the consistent application of risk policies, tools, and practices across the department. It works closely with business areas and governance forums to ensure risk inform..ation is clear, relevant, and embedded in decision‑making, contributing to effective risk mitigation and organisational resilience.
