People, Legal and Governance provides business enabling people, legal and corporate services functions, to drive a high-performance culture; timely and accessible legal advice and services; and to support integrated operations and portfolio wide programs.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Risk Education & Continuous Improvement within the Risk, Compliance and Resilience (RCR) Branch, the role has two areas of focus:
Supporting the Director, RCR :
· Provide strategic governance advice .
· Lead branch business planning and manage projects that drive continuous improvement.
· Coordinate whole-of-branch initiatives and corporate contributions, including annual compliance attestations, business planning, culture programs, audit action tracking, and branch reporting.
· Work with RCR teams to develop and monitor performance indicators that measure learning, engagement, and value, including periodic culture assessments.
Risk Education & Continuous Improvement Team:
· Deliver capability development initiatives across DTP to drive maturity uplift in RCR programs of work.
· Contribute to the procurement, design and configuration of new processes and technology to embed risk, compliance, and resilience into governance practices, enabling transparent communication and evidence-based decision-making.
· Provide structured capability and change support through clear communications, targeted training and capability uplift, mechanisms for feedback, resistance management, and early intervention.
· Develop and monitor performance indicators that measure learning, engagement, and value, including periodic culture assessments.

Qualifications and role specific requirements
Mandatory
· Demonstrated experience in developing strategies, policies or projects that build capability and engagement within a complex organization
· Demonstrated experience managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
· Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops or stakeholder engagement.
· Demonstrated experience in developing insightful reports and/or preparing/reviewing briefings for executive leadership.
Desirable
· Demonstrated experience in a corporate services function
