About the role
The Senior Advisor Network Resilience provides expert technical and operational analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and inform executive and ministerial reporting on network performance and disruptions. The role monitors network conditions during both normal operations and incidents, contributing insights that improve safety, efficiency, and customer outcomes. It plays a key role in post-incident reviews by identifying trends, root causes, and lessons learned to strengthen long-term resilience and response capability. The position also provides technical assurance for planned disruptions by reviewing traffic management, detour strategies, and mitigation plans to minimise impact on the network and community. In addition, it supports programs such as Signal Network Optimisation through data analysis and performance insights, while engaging with key stakeholders and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall network management and operational effectiveness.
