Senior Advisor, Industry Development
The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering initiatives that support Victoria's creative industries—helping to identify emerging trends, contribute to policy development, and promote inclusive growth. Working closely with the policy team, you'll support the co-design and delivery of strategic projects that align with government priorities and foster sector development.
You'll engage with industry stakeholders, advisory groups and partners across government to build collaborative relationships and explore opportunities to grow demand for creative content and experiences. You'll also work with Creative Victoria's First Peoples team to support self-determined engagement and help embed First Peoples perspectives in policy and program design.
By actively contributing to a positive team culture and cross-sector collaboration, you'll help strengthen Victoria's reputation as a global leader in creative industries.

The Team
The position of Senior Advisor, Industry Development, forms a part of the Policy and Delivery Branch within the Creative Victoria Group.
The branch brings together Creative Victoria's programs and investment in support of artists, creative workers, creative organisations, businesses, and portfolio agencies, with our work to manage and deliver world-class creative infrastructure. The branch also leads on policy and coordination across government and industry, and the development of Victoria's creative industries strategy.
About You
Bring your exceptional stakeholder management experience to this role, identifying and responding to underlying needs using your understanding of the stakeholders organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Your systems thinking approach with diagnose trends, obstacles and opportunities. You will coach others in using systems thinking to solve problems and create solutions.
