About the opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Environmental Management role sits within the Land, Planning, Environment & Sustainability (LPES) division, reporting to the Principal Advisor, Environmental Management and Planning.
This client-side role is an opportunity to influence unrivalled environmental outcomes on the largest, multi-decade, city-shaping project in Australia.
This role will support the delivery phase of the project, working closely with the Principal Advisor, Environmental Management and Planning, to develop and implement systems and procedures, to evaluate project delivery performance and drive continual improvement on environmental management across the project.
A flexible but accountable approach to the delivery of this role is required as day to day you will be problem-solving, providing advice, and implementing plans and procedures across a range of complex issues, in accordance with SRLA Environmental Policy, and the Environmental Management System (EMS). Additionally, you may spend time on site undertaking active surveillance of Contractor's work.
You will be a highly focused and proactive person who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of city-shaping public infrastructure, with experience working within a multi-disciplinary team and large fast-paced projects. You will possess the ability to form positive and collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of SRLA project teams, technical advisors and key stakeholders.
