About the Role:
The Senior Advisor, Complex Cases is responsible for supporting the BPC in its administration of the licensing and registration scheme for building and plumbing practitioners under the Building Act 1993. With an understanding of organisational governance and statutory decision-making obligations, the primary purpose of this role is to review escalated licensing and registration applications, and use delegated decision-making authority to grant or refuse applications.
The role also prepares a broad range of detailed correspondences, contributes to development of operational policy and procedures and provides direct guidance to the team and wider business on applications to support efficient and effective decision-making.
