About the roleThis is a Fixed Term Position until 30 November 2026
We’re seeking a skilled Senior Advisor, Briefings & Correspondence to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate ministerial briefings, correspondence, and information. Reporting to the Manager, Briefings & Correspondence, you’ll work closely with ministerial offices, the Secretary’s office, and senior executives to ensure the department and its agencies provide coordinated, insightful, and professional advice to portfolio ministers. This role blends operational delivery with strategic oversight—identifying emerging issues, driving process improvements, and leading key initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
As the leader of a small, high-performing team, you’ll guide and mentor staff to ensure ministerial products are prepared to the highest standard, reinforcing the department’s reputation for excellence.
