About the Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services. The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Division
The Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance (OPSEC) Division is a supportive, respectful, positive, and collaborative team with a culture of high integrity, responsiveness and accountability. The division has a collective focus on reducing administrative and compliance burden for schools, supporting school child safety responses, improving policy and compliance support, and streamlining the volume and timing of communications to schools.

About the Role
Fixed term, full-time role till 11-DEC-2026.
The Quality, Planning and Operations Manager leads the OPSEC Division's operational, planning, risk, reporting, special projects and other business processes necessary to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of all the functions of the Division. The position has responsibility for working with the Executive Director and other leaders in the division to administer and support the management of budgets, business plans, risk registers, business continuity plans, procurement processes, case and records management systems, human resources, invoicing and finance, incoming briefings and correspondence management and other projects.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Experience or knowledge of Victorian Government administrative processes and working with Oracle, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint are beneficial and should be stated in your application, however it is not mandatory for appointment to the role.
