We are looking for a Senior Adviser to join our Digital and Communications Unit at the Victorian Skills Authority. You will be someone who shows initiative, loves understanding target audiences and can deliver communications and marketing tactics to raise awareness, educate, change perceptions and increase participation.

The role is part of the Services Branch, which comprises of 4 units - Community Engagement, Advisory Board Advice and Support, Digital and Communications, and Major Events.
The branch is responsible for delivering a range of online, telephone and in-person support for learners seeking to undertake training to enhance their skills and career prospects. The branch oversees the VSA's strategic communications and digital channels as well as major events including the Victorian Training Awards. It is also responsible for community engagement, including Skills and Jobs Centres and the TAFE and Training Line; and the VSA's Advisory Board, which provides quality and timely advice to the VSA and the Minister for Skills and TAFE on the vocational education sector and skills shortages in Victoria.
The Digital and Communications Unit is responsible for leading the brand and communications strategy for the VSA, and managing both internal and external communications and messaging. The unit is responsible for the VSA's digital channels including the VSA website, Victorian Skills Gateway website and coursefinder, and social media channels. It ensures messaging aligns to the priorities of the VSA and Victorian Government. It is also responsible for managing skills and associated careers promotion and campaigns, as appropriate. The unit also oversees graphic design and print requirements across the VSA, and supports key events and promotional activities.
